Myrtle I. Cleversey

Myrtle Irene Cleversey. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mother, Myrtle Irene on November 25, 2016, at the age of 86 years, in Mahone Nursing Home, Mahone Bay.

Born in Milton, she was the daughter of the late John and Alice (Wolfe) Jollimore.

Mom lived most of her life on Windsor Road , Chester, where she raised her family. Mom was a very kind and gracious women, who took great interest in her family and friends. She loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved family gatherings especially the family picnics at Graves Island. Mom had a great love for music and dancing.

She was predeceased by her first husband, Walter Lloyd Collicutt; second husband, Murray Collicutt; daughter, Margaret; brother, Clyde; sister, Mildred; granddaughter, Patricia Kaizer; sons-in-law, Ernie Kaizer and Ronald Armstrong.

Mom is survived by husband Merrill Cleversey; sister, Marguerite Wilson; daughters, Frances (Roger) Barkhouse, Barbara (Malcolm) Boutilier, Helen (Thomas) Murphy; son, Roger (Jeannie) Collicutt; six grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; stepsons, Glen and Paul Cleversey; stepdaughters, Sharon (Kim) Barss, Marilyn (Doug) Johnston; step grandchildren.

No visitation by request. A graveside service will be held 2pm, Friday, December 2, 2016 in Bayview Anglican Cemetery, Chester Commons, Chester, The Rev. Ian M. Wissler officiating.

Family flowers only please. Memorial donations are requested to be made to Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Canada, Atlantic Canada Region or Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
