Stuart J. R. Hirtle

Stuart John Russell Hirtle - 76, of Martins Point passed away July 16, 2010 at South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Oakland he was a son of the late Russell and Esther (Hiltz) Hirtle. He was a carpenter by trade. He is survived by daughters, Jean Publicover (Bruce Whynot) and Rosie Whynot (Blaine Whynot), all of Bridgewater; sons, Stuart (Kelsie), Martins River; Stephen, Port Coquitlam, B.C.; Daniel, Middleton; sisters, Dorothy (Brainard) Andrews, Arizona; Gloria Young, Cambridge, Ont.; Joyce Hirtle, Halifax; brothers, Russell, Chester; Douglas (Eleanor), Martins Point; grandchildren, Dana and Tasha Hirtle; Kayla Publicover and Katharine Wile; Felicia and Brad Whynot; Jeffrey and Jillian Hirtle. He was predeceased by son, Bruce, infant son, John; brothers Aubrey and Donald. Visiting will be held 7-9 p.m., Tuesday, July 20, 2010 in Mahone Funeral Home, Mahone Bay and where a memorial service will be held 2 p.m., Wednesday, July 21, 2010, The Rev. Bonnie Baird officiating. Burial of ashes will be in Western Shore Cemetery. Family flowers only.
