Clemence Jerome "Clem" Kaizer
1927-2011
Clemence, or Clem as he was known, was a family man. He worked mainly in carpentry and road work. He was an avid hunter and outdoorsman. He enjoyed his ATV with his dog at his side. Clem always had time for a yarn and a smile, whether it was at Tim Horton’s or at Jamel’s store.
He is survived by daughters, Ann Marie Kaizer (William Johnson) and Mary Ann Kaizer, both of Beech Hill Road; Christina Lottie (Brian) Wentzell, Maitland; sons, William (Christine) Duncan , Lower Grant Road; Sidney Kaizer, Bridgewater; Clementh (Shelley) Kaizer, Windsor Road; John Joseph Kaizer, Beech Hill Road; sisters, Myrtle Wilneff, Black Point; Mary Peters, New Germany; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his wife, Mary Madeline (Johnson); sisters, Lialiah Johnson, Stella Myra, Hazel Zwicker, Meriel Kaizer, Eileen Kaizer; brothers, Maynard, Melbourne, Ainsley, James, Robert, Basil, Clarence; a great-granddaughter, Ashlen May Marie Johnson.
Visiting will be 7-9 p.m., Tuesday, February 15, 2011 in Mahone Funeral Home, Mahone Bay. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m., Wednesday, February 16, 2011 in Western Shore Baptist Church, Western Shore, Rev. Donald Dunn officiating. Burial will be in Western Shore Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society, Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia or any other charity.
