Lillian Jane (Aulenback) Strum
1932-2021
It is with great sadness that the family of Lillian Strum, of Blockhouse, announces she passed away peacefully at South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater, on March 15th 2021.
Born in Farmville, she was the daughter of the late Aaron and Effie Aulenback.
Lillian actively enjoyed her farm and vegetable gardens. As her children were grown, she decided to work outside the farm and home. She worked several years at ABCO. She was then employed by National Sea Products, retiring 16 years later and still continued with her farm animals. Lillian always enjoyed shopping and visits with her sister, Violet.
Survived by daughters, Frances Rafuse, Barbara Adams (Gary), Uda Robar, Nancy Sologuk (Ted); sons, Frankie (Karen), Walter (Eileen); sister, Violet Zwicker; sister-in-law, Audrey Aulenback; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews; and her beloved Pekingese, Gracie.
Predeceased by husband, Reginald; son-in-law, Reid Risser; sisters, Pauline Aulenback, Ruth Aulenback(Willis); brother, William Aulenback.

A private family graveside service will be held at Garden of Rest Cemetery in Blockhouse, Rev. James Haughn officiating. There will not be a reception due to Covid-19 restrictions.
