Josephine Christine "Josie" Hiltz

Josephine Christine “Josie” Hiltz, 85, of Western Shore, passed away, surrounded by her family, January 13, 2012 at South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater.

Born in Marriott’s Cove, she was a daughter of the late Stanley and Georgina (Hiltz) Eisner.

She loved bingo and had a great sense of humour which she kept to the end.

She is survived by daughters, Joan (Wayne) Langille, Northwest; Linda (Bruce) Wile, Wileville; grandchildren, Allan Wile, Tina (Larry) Feener, Tanya Wile, Corey (Joann) Langille; great grandchildren, Kaden and Ty Feener; sisters, Beulah Schnare and Heather Eisner, Chester; Joan (Richard) Perron, Northborough, Mass.; brother, Norman Eisner, Marriott’s Cove, several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her loving companion, Neil Wilson; sisters, Marion Kaizer, Minnie Fitzgerald; brother, Arthur Eisner.

Cremation has taken place. A private graveside service will be held at a later date.

Memorial donations may be made to Western Shore-Gold River and District Fire Department or Victorian Order of Nurses-Lunenburg County Branch.
