Linda M. Hall

Linda Marie Hall. Age 63, of Martin’s Point, peacefully passed away February 13, 2014 at the South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater, after a short battle with cancer.

Born in New Ross, she was the daughter of Marguerite (Redden) Lenihan, Mahone Nursing Home, Mahone Bay and the late Albert Lenihan.

Linda graduated from NSCC Lunenburg Campus, Bridgewater where she was the valedictorian of her graduating class of 2000. Linda was a valued employee of National Sea Products, Lunenburg; Gold Star tree yard, Seffernsville and Karlsen Fish Plant, Blandford. She loved flower gardening, camping at Sherwood Forest Camp Ground, Coldbrook and spending time with family and friends.

She is survived by her loving fiancée, Arnold Hiltz, Martin’s Point; daughters, Teena Frizzell (Scott) Dartmouth; Kelly Weisner (Corey), Armstrong Rd., Chester; son, Wade Hall, Seffernsville. Linda was the proud ‘Nanny’ of eight grandchildren. Linda leaves behind her sisters: Anna Lenihan (Cecil), Upper Vaughan; Mary Duffney (Myles), Seffernsville. She also leaves behind brothers Otis Lenihan (Elaine) and Neil Lenihan (Sherry) all of Seffernsville.

Linda was predeceased by her son, Steven Michael; her father, Albert; brothers, Laurie, Nolan and Jeffery; nephew, Dale Lenihan.

Cremation has taken place under the direction of Mahone Funeral Home, Mahone Bay. A memorial gathering and reception will be held 1:00 to 6:00p.m., Saturday, February 22, 2014 at the New Ross Royal Canadian Legion, New Ross. Interment will be at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Nursing Ward family room or the Cancer floor of the South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater.
