John J. Magee

Avid hunter and fisherman, John James Magee of Lower New Cornwall, died December 17, 2014 at the QEII Health Sciences Centre, Halifax.

John, 53, worked for High Liner Foods Inc. for the last 34 years, which sent him to many countries around the world.

Born in Saint John, N.B., he is survived by Christine Magee, his wife of 27 years; son, Shane; father, Douglas; brothers, Richard, William, David, Robert and sister, Caroline.

He was predeceased by mother, Audrey and infant sister, Wendy.

While there will be no service by request, family and friends are invited to gather at the Cornwall Fire Hall, Upper New Cornwall, Saturday, December 27, 2014 from 2 to 4 p.m..
